Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Synqq website and mobile applications operated by Dianoia Tech and Rodrick Alcantara (“Synqq,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Synqq, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Synqq. You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use Synqq only with that consent.
2. Your account
You sign in through Google or Apple and are responsible for maintaining control of that provider account and your devices. Provide accurate information, keep it current, and notify us if you believe your Synqq account has been accessed without authorization. You may not create an account for another person without permission.
3. The Synqq service
Synqq helps you create a shareable Synqq card, connect with people, and privately remember relationship context such as where you met, notes, tags, and follow-ups. Features may change as the service develops. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law.
4. Your content and other people’s information
You retain ownership of profile information, photos, notes, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant Synqq a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to follow your visibility choices.
Synqq may let you record information about people you meet. You are responsible for having a lawful and appropriate reason to add that information. Do not use Synqq to store unlawfully obtained data, highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for reconnecting, or content that violates another person’s privacy, confidentiality, or rights.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Synqq for unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, abusive, or harassing activity;
- impersonate someone or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt, probe, or bypass service security;
- scrape, harvest, or access other users’ information by unauthorized means;
- reverse engineer Synqq except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- help another person do any of the above.
6. Synqq AI
On supported Apple devices, Synqq AI uses Apple Intelligence to interpret requests for four app actions: search, get your profile details, update your profile details, and get your QR. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review results and profile changes before relying on them. Synqq AI is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or emergency advice.
7. Privacy and visibility
Our Privacy Policy explains our data practices. You decide which optional contact methods are publicly visible. Private notes, tags, places, and reminders are intended to be visible only to the account that created them, but you remain responsible for what you enter and share.
8. Account deletion and termination
You may stop using Synqq at any time. You can permanently delete your account and associated data through the Profile screen or our account-deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or harm, or when necessary to comply with law. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
9. Synqq intellectual property
Synqq, its branding, software, interface, and service content—excluding Your Content—are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and service for their intended purpose.
10. Third-party services and app stores
Synqq relies on services provided by Apple, Google, Convex, and Cloudflare. Their own terms may apply to your use of their services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
If you download Synqq from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s applicable Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Synqq. If you download Synqq from Google Play, Google Play’s applicable terms also apply.
11. Service availability and disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Synqq is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, permanent storage, or that Synqq will meet every requirement. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Synqq and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to Synqq will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for Synqq during the 12 months before the claim or US$100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Synqq and its operators from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your unlawful use of Synqq, or your material violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction in Metro Manila, Philippines will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
15. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms and will post the revised version with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required by law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or business transfer.
